Information Collection and Use
VTS Systems, VTS CLOUD, or VTS Mobile CLOUD is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. VTS will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what’s disclosed in this statement. VTS collects information from its users at several different points on its website.
Registration
In order to use this website, VTS CLOUD, or VTS Mobile CLOUD app, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration the user is required to give their contact information (such as name, address, telephone number, and email address). The information is used to contact the user about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest. Users requesting access to federal Driver Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) records via Auto Data Direct (ADD) must also indicate which provision of the DPPA entitles them to view the sensitive driver license and vehicle data provided through the secure VTS/ADD link.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on the VTS website.
This cookie acts to authenticate a user during their session. Once the user closes the browser, the cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie on the VTS website, the user would not have to enter a password more than once per session, thereby saving time. If a user rejects the cookie, the user may not use the website or the VTS CLOUD application.
Log Files
VTS uses IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track users’ movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. VTS tracks each individual motor vehicle and driver license transaction. This information will only be shared with the companies who initiated the transactions and any law enforcement or governmental auditing agencies who are entitled to view our logs by law.
Sharing
VTS uses a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
VTS partners with other parties to provide specific services. When the user signs up for these services, VTS will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services.
These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

Surveys
From time to time, VTS requests information from users via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose the requested information. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.
Security
This website takes every precaution to protect users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, the information is protected both online and offline.
While VTS uses Microsoft Azure TDE SQL database to protect sensitive information online, VTS also does everything in its power to protect user information off-line. All VTS user information, not just the sensitive information, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, a billing clerk or customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. ALL employees are kept up-to-date on VTS security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, VTS employees are notified and/or reminded of the importance VTS places on privacy, and what each employee can do to ensure VTS customers’ information is protected. Furthermore, the servers on which VTS stores personally identifiable information is kept in a secure environment, provided by Microsoft’s Azure CLOUD-based platform.

Established members will occasionally receive information on products, services, service bulletins, and a newsletter.
Site and Service Updates
VTS also sends the user site and service announcement updates. Members are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. VTS communicates with the user to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account via email or phone.
Correction/Updating Personal Information
If a user’s personally identifiable information changes (such as a zip code), or if a user no longer desires VTS services, VTS will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove personal data provided to VTS by the user. This request can be made via a written letter, by telephone, or by emailing our Customer Support.
Notification of Changes
If VTS changes its privacy policy, VTS will post those changes on its homepage so users are always aware of what information is collected, how it is used, and under what circumstances, if any, it is disclosed. If at any point. VTS decides to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, it will notify users via email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not VTS may use their information in this different manner. VTS will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
